General
Items left for repair are done so at your own risk and may be covered by our insurance on a limited liability cover only and NOT a new for old basis. Proof of purchase and/or value will be required in all cases where a claim is made. Your cycle must be covered under your own insurance policy to ensure adequate cover is in place.
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with any work carried out please return the item to us within fourteen days of the completion date (as shown on the repair ticket) and we will make every endeavour to put matters right to our mutual satisfaction. No additional warranty for re-works is given or implied and the fourteen day warranty period continues from the original date only.
All prices are for work carried out using parts supplied by us on a clean bike. If you provide parts for fitting, we may charge a higher rate for the work and the parts WILL NOT be covered under any warranty offered by us but remain with the company who supplied them to you. It is assumed that you have checked the suitability of the parts you have supplied to us for fitting, and we do not accept any liability for parts that do not fit, incompatible, or are not fit for purpose.
A dirty bike may incur additional cleaning charges from £15 up to a maximum of £55, at our discretion.
Should a part purchased from us be incorrect you may return it in its original, undamaged, packaging in an unused condition for an exchange or refund. Parts that have been fitted or damaged will not be accepted for refund or replacement. A restocking fee may be charged at our discretion.
All goods and services remain the property of Castle Cycles until invoice(s) are paid in full. Cash and card payments are accepted, we do not offer credit or part payment options unless using a pre-authorised voucher scheme*.
Goods and services must be paid for on collection of the item and they will not be released until paid in full.
Bikes not collected within five working days of completion of work, as advised by text, phone, or otherwise, may be moved to a storage facility and/or incur storage charges of £15 per week, or part thereof, at our discretion. Items not collected after sixty days may be disposed of to recover outstanding charges without further reference to the client and any deficit may be recovered from the client through legal process.
*Vouchers Payments
Voucher payments will only be accepted from pre-approved schemes, and you must advise of such method of payment at the time of booking in your bicycle. We reserve the right to refuse any voucher in full or part payment for any service offered by Castle Cycles.
If a voucher is accepted in full or part payment for a service or repair the customer is responsible for the amount due until such time as Castle Cycles have received the payment in full, from the relevant voucher clearing house. Goods and services remain our property until we are paid in full for all outstanding invoice amounts.
